Yup, go figure! Each market sets its collector price. In aussie today any 1969 GTHO Falcon will cost you $500,000 plus. Cost $3k new. When most are written off, the collectors grab whats left. I may be very wrong, but I see the TT Z being a collectors piece. The US is a different market as your USDM models are LHD, and the jap collectors want JDM RHD. However, the US market is likely to keep in line with any Jap collector interest. Equally, the world does follow the US market. When America sneezes, the world catches a cold, is the saying. An E3 BMW 1973 3.0S that I recently bought (& sold unfortunately) for $1000 locally is worth EU$15k in Germany. Go figure... However, as many answerers have said, irregardless of future value, enjoy owning it today! Even if its worth tree fiddy.
